Description:Osiris was slain by Seth, who tore the corpse into 14 pieces and scattered them across Egypt. Eventually, Isis found and buried all the pieces, giving new life to Osiris. He then remained in the underworld as ruler and judge. This identification with Osiris did not imply resurrection; even Osiris did not rise from the dead. Instead, it symbolized the renewal of life.

The Projet Osiris tells the story of our shattered selves following the August 4 Beirut port explosion, reflecting on how many of us repeatedly said we could have died.
