Engineered for different hair types

Our scientists test and study all types of hair in our hair labs – some of the most sophisticated in the world

That’s why we have engineered a range of attachments designed to style different types of hair

Engineered for different styles

Innovation everywhere you look

Scalp protect mode

A Time of Flight sensor automatically adjusts to maintain an optimal target temperature for improved moisture retention

Attachment learning

A Hall sensor recognises each attachment as you use it and automatically adjusts to your go-to styling preferences

Pause detect

An accelerometer detects movement and knows when the machine is put down, deactivating the heater and decreasing airflow

Set your style

Three precise speed settings and four precise heat settings

The fourth button is a Cold shot, cooling and setting your styles

Fast, intelligent drying

A small but powerful Dyson Hyperdymium™ motor generates a high-velocity jet of controlled air

Air Multiplier™ technology

Draws in surrounding air to multiply airflow by three times, powerfully projecting controlled air

Intelligent heat control

Regulates air temperature to prevent excessive heat damage and protect natural shine
